What is a translator?

A translator converts the ocntents of a written text from a language of origin to a destination languate. As part of this process, a translator is responsible for researching terminology and ensure that he or she finds adequate equivalences to guarantee that the translated text is a true versión of the original text.

There are two types of translation work:

 

Sworn translation:

When submitting legal documents to government agencies, universities, courts and other, many times it is necessary to present oficial translations of documents originally written in foreign languages. A translation produced for such purposes needs to be signed by a certified translator. We offer you this service in the languages that we work with.

 

 General translation:

The translation of documents: business, technical, literary or other, that do not require the official signature of a certified translator.
